Anybody using Hooker Comps w/ 1-7/8" primaries in a B-Body ('67 to be specific), How well do they fit with a stock head / plug configuration?

Not sure about '67 but I and one other friend both have 1 7/8" Super Comps on '68 Coronets and they fit fine.

I just put 1 7/8" Comps on a 66 Coronet and didnt have any issues at all, fit just fine on my straight plug 440. I did use a 440 source mini starter , but I dont think I had to.

I ran the hooker competition headers on my 69 charger with a 440 and they fit fine. The cleared the power steering good but the collector rattled against the driver's side torsion bar (.960" bars). I ended up dinging the driver's side collector a little and it was fine. Passenger side cleared fine without any modification. Plug clearance was bad with stock heads and I ended up using ceramic book spark plug wires.

Fit great with powersteering and brakes.
With stock heads. I have them on with eddy heads and plug clearence is very tight but they work!

My Hooker SuperComp 1 7/8 headers fit great out of the box on my 70 Charger RT with powersteering. It has stealth heads,4speed with Lakewood Bell,1.06 torsion bars and a mini-starter.

They were a terrible fit in my brothers 68 Charger. It's a 440, steath heads, auto. Hit p. steering box, both torsion bars and the drivers side did not line up with the opening in the trans crossmember. We took em out and heated dinged bent them all over the place!
