Just like 440SE says, it will be below the passengerside door on the frame. definately a 440 truck by what your VIN is. It was orignally a fleetside bed truck. Yes, they made them is yellow, I just sold a 78 macho power wagon that was factory yellow. The "5" that you are refering to should be an "S" in the vin, and it is a common mistake at the DMV too.

Hi new to the board. I have a 77 Adventurer Se 150 440 swb. It has bucket seats, factory tach, cruise, air, dual tanks ( which it really needs). I show the truck alot and drive it when ever I can. Here's a link to some pics of it.

wow, i have to agree w/sam. that's one sweet little ride.
nice color combo, like that red on white. does it have red int? just wondering cuz you said it had buckets and they only came in black. and that would make a really nice color combo red/white/black. oooohhhhh
show us a pic, red int looks sweet when it's redone.
did you have rear wheels widened?
BUT, looks like i still have the rarest one, so far. hehe

Yeah 77440se I am a machinist, I got the truck from a guy who had gotten from a doctor that special ordered it. Where do I know you from? I am in Northeast TN.
Machoman,
it has a black interior. On the wheels the rear ones have been widen two inches to the outside and I took off the plain bullet style center and added spinners to them. They really turned out nice. I wanted to use the stock wheels so that was what I decided to do to them to make them look trick.
I take somemore pics in the next few days and post them.
Machoman, what is your truck?

smokn440 on your truck it is really rare but i have talked with another guy that says he has one of those ( it may have been you though). I spoke to him at the Lil red/Warlock show in Newport News VA in 2002. Said he had bought it with the intention of making a Midnight express out of it but after seeing my Adv SE and me trying to convince him how rare and odd his was he said he was going to restore it back. Also I believe he said his truck was a sunroof truck..
