The most common aluminum bigblock heads are:

Stage V - Hemi conversion head.

That head is but a myth, sadly perpetuated in the magazines and sometimes on this forum. Out ov production years and years ago. If it still existed, i'd have a hemi in my car right now.

Too bad, it was a good idea.

PEP is "Precision Engine Products". They are not CAT PEP. CAT is still operating and we do use some of their parts as well. We feel like the Keith Black forged pistons are some of the best available. We also offer Diamond pistons. KB uses the 2618 material on all of their forged pistons which is considered a little tougher than the 4032 that some other places use. We have never had a problem with any of them. The main reason I posted on this thread was just to dispel that myth that certain places are always cheaper. We usually can be pretty competetive on like kind, like quality parts and I just wanted to point that out. Sometimes we can't compete on certain things but we try to make up for it with quality and tech support.
Thanks for all of the nice comments guys!

Seen the site, E-mailed the company, snail-mailed the company, got the brochures, called and talked to the man hisself. More than once. Those heads dont exist. And if they decided to make 'em again, i WILL kill somebody.

Good part combination, North American made, at fair price and a great place to get the word out. That's why this Board is so great.
