I found a 78 Warlock with a 440 in it. I got to take a good look at it and talk with the guy, it has 65k orignal miles on it and I am still working on the guy to get a price from him. It is unusually equipt, it has a/c, full gauge package, buckets, road wheels(not wagon wheels), and the normal stuff that a warlock would have. It is red and he is the orignal owner. He uses it to carry a quad when he goes hunting. I will have updates later.

Hello all: I just joined today.. But I have a couple of questions. 1- What would a 1976 Adventure SE club cab long bed. Original 440 truck that is in need of restore be worth? It was running when it was parked. The A-arm bushings are out.. It looks very complete and has lots of wood grain. Has factory tach. My dad bought this truck new. The second owner had the truck now. 2- I am trying to convert from Power to Manual Steering. On my 79 LRT. Where can I get a manual gear box and what else would I need. Thanks Great site. Please dont me too bad about the LRT distruction.

The best I can remember. All the trim pieces are there. I dont have this truck. However the guy that ownes it has told me I could have it. Like I said it was bought new by my dad until 79 when he got a new truck. The current owner bought the truck and it has like 400k miles on it. It has been parked for I know of 3 years. He parked it when the A arms about fell off. It has been coast to coast several times. I remember the day my dad got it. He had a reg cab 440 74 before this and a 71 383 before that. In 79 he went to the F word for a big motor. After 3 transmittions he went to a diesel F word so on and so on.... I just bought him a 04 Quad Hemi. The truck is white and has never been painted. The interior is black and the seats have the console seat in the middle. If any one is interested in parts enough I could part this truck out. But I have no use for anything but the transmition. If someone has money to spend on this truck let me know. I dont really want to make money but It is about a 5 hour drive away. The sheet metal is in pretty good shape the best I remember.

Hi All..... I just recently added another 440 truck to my collection, it is a loaded up 78 d150 swb adv se truck. It is a factory removeable sunroof truck and I have documentation for the sunroof(buildsheet). Here is a pic of it before it got here in CA.

I must have missed something, 78 was the last year for the 440 's in the trucks, but the "B" series van and motorhome chassis and "M" chassis did recieve the 440 engine through the end of 79. There are some high end motor homes that are say 1981-1982 vintage that used what was left over of the "M" series chassis that had the 440's in them. my 2 cents

Do all the old dodges have the VIN on the frame? Mine is a 78 440 truck with Dana 60's front and rear with a 727 TF. I dont know where the truck was built or anything because the Vin is usually on the door, but somewhere along its life someone put newer doors and fenders on, so I dont have a VIN. I have a title but im not sure if it is the real VIN or not. Someone also put a stepside bed on it too. You can see it in the pics page, its the first truck. blue/silver. Also, inside the cab is yellow behind the dash, did these trucks come in a yellow color? The VIN is W14BD85252608. I know the first part of the # thanks to redex79, but does anyone know what the 5252608 means. Usually there is a letter in place of that first 5, so it threw me off there. Any help would be great!!
