going to throw some new lipstick on the packmule and would like some ideas to break up the black. currently just has a red pinstripe, did the job, but want something new. Challenger 1 has something like I might be interested in. also would like to do something to the hood. I am 99% sure I am putting the vinyl roof back on. Should I stay with glossy black or would a satin or flat be better for a race car. Just looking for a few ideas. Probably won't even get it all finished before I go back to Florida except for maybe the hood and fenders, bla, bla.

On a black car I like two colors of stripes.

1) Blacksilver you see real well in the sun on a black car and can be a ghosts stripe in the shade.

2) Silver stands out good every where but I would still add a few shades to darken it up a little on a black car.

Why not a factory-style longitudinal stripe, maybe in orange or corporate ("Petty") blue, or whatever color you like?
You could also add a stripe or two below it, either following the same contour, or arcing towards the bottom of the car, if you want.
Personally, I think graphics that work with the lines of the car look more appealing than those that don't.

Goldleaf and lace... Write PackMule in gold leaf on the doors...

forgot the old lace trick, that's pretty 60ish, just might work tho. doubt I would put packmule on it tho maybe put Bryden Construction in gold?/silver?/purple metallic? lace. hmmm. course whatever I come up with has to pass the wife's taste.

go to Autozone in the ricer section and get some fake bullet holes, would look great on your ride!! lol and maybe some carbon fiber vinyl for the hood

I've always thought Dodge had some great graphics in 1970 and 1971,and like the "stock" look.

Perhaps one or more of the following in white for contrast:

* The '71 dual R/T stripes, with or without the R/T letters.

* Bumblebee stripe around the tail.

* Vinyl top in white?

* Put OEM engine callout emblems on the scoop or duplicates in decal form. (I had a local sign/decal company make the 360 FOUR BARREL decals in the OEM size for my scoop and they came out pretty well in chrome and red.)

White would help show some of the body lines in night photos.

I am partial to purple. I have thought about doing a deep purple RT stripe like the white one above. I think that would be the cats meow!
