Thanks for the support Dave! So onto problem one. The passenger spindle. The rotor would not go on the spindle, turns out the diameter is .25" to big which means i needed to find another spindle. So i run out and pull on off of another front suspension, bring it home, same problem. So that means i had no option but to pull one of a suspension that was in a car that burnt to the ground. That was quite the adventure... Here we finally got the rotor and caliper off with lots of heat, notice the inner part of the bearing is still on the rotor Not moving at all... whats left of the bearing in the rotor... So the inner part of the bearing need to be cut off as it was not moving. So our friend very carefully torched it out... Here is the aftermath, then we also broke all three dust cover bolts, which in turn broke a drill bit and a tap. This was a very interesting project All done, spindle is cleaned and primed, just needing paint... Then steering column troubles (knew it was coming, still trying to find an alternative to spending $150 for the flaming river kit... On the upside, i polished the headlight rings (three backs not done, just to compare)

That doesn't look like you were having much fun at all.
As far as the steering goes, the distance in the pic is more than the difference between power and manual steering, so what gives? I wonder if your column "slipped". I had the unit out of my 69 runner a few years ago, and when I went to re-install, the stupid thing had shrunk 3". Needless to say, I figured out that the column had somehow been collapsed a bit being moved around the shop. Brought it out where it needed to be, and problem solved.
Now, assuming that is a PS column, you'd still likely be a bit short. I had HEARD that MS vans had the same adapter factory as FR sells aftermarket. Might be worth a lookand a LOT cheaper.
