Did anyone see and photograph the Hemi Block with the earliest casting date on it ?

I saw it and talked to the guy about it and the other parts he had----very expensive but took no pictures---sorry Stewart.

The block I saw said, OEM Hemi block, Standard bore, New, $10,000. I am not sure the date or numbers but I think it was 64 or 65. It was in the swap meet area.

Yea seen that as well... Std bore 1964 casting HEMI block $$$$$ 10 grand

The block I'm talking about was down by the starting line--below Todd Werners's cars. The guy was from Florida and had a small table set up with various Mopar parts. The Hemi block was on an engine stand I believe and had a sign saying it was the FIRST Hemi engine built. He had NOS wedge blocks and several Nascar bathtub intakes along with Hemi rocker arms and much more. The guy was very nice to talk to.

nope the block I was talking about was in the swap meet area. I did not see the one by Todds rig.

I did see the guy you are talking about, but I didn't stop and look at his stuff. I was not sure why he was in the Vendor area with what I thought was stuff that should have been in the swap area.
