I like blue as it's less hassle to remove. Properly applyed red requires 600 degrees to release. Dave

I use red for critical parts, I'd consider converter bolts critical, save the blue for interior stuff or other non-critical things...

The bolts torque/stretch is really supposed to do the work of holding the components together, if you're relying on the Loctite to hold it together you gotta wonder why....I use loctite as a measure of insurance so blue should be sufficient on most bolts, I've seen more dampenerer bolts come loose than flywheel bolts but I'd sure never put red loctite on one....

I don't think I've ever seen blue come loose on a NEW bolt that had been PROPERLY cleaned, prepared and torqued to the right spec. Reused bolts are another matter that's why I don't reuse bolts in critical areas.

I use the red but I have forgotten to use anything
BUT I use my impact to tighten them.... I have had
1 bolt come loose over the years(before I started
using the impact on them)

If you absolutely, positively dont ever want it to come apart, there is a green loctite that will not let it come apart without a maximum amount of effort.

That is stud and bearing mount, not really intended for nut's and bolt's.

Light travels faster than the speed of sound,,,this is why some people seem bright untill you hear them speak.
