Ive been trying to find a pair of exh. flange gaskets that fit the manifolds on my jensen without any luck. Most every aftermarket parts store list the felpro 60025 flange gasket as working for most every chrysler small or big block in any year. They dont however work on my engine. It is a '74 440, but Im guessing the manifolds might be more for a truck or RV application? just a guess. the center diameter on my manifolds is substansially smaller than the given gaskets, and the bolt spacing is slightly smaller. Does anyone know off hand what application these could be from?

It does dissapoint me that apparently I have some particularly tiny manifold outlets!

What about using some high temp (copper) RTV instead of gaskets ? I went that route a couple times on Oz stuff when I didn't have a gasket handy and worked fine.

Aside from that, maybe take a pic (or paper rubbing) of your flange along with some measurements and someone might chime in with a gasket that will do the trick.

Ya I may have to break down and just do the RTV thing. But I plan on taking this all back apart soon, and Id rather not have a mess to clean up.

But I did take some measurements. On my manifolds, the outlet is 1 7/8" ID, and 3 1/2" bolt spacing. The gaskets i found that are supposed to fit have a 2 3/8" ID, and 4" bolt spacing. Very far off.

More than just finding the gaskets, Im now wondering if manifolds with the much larger outlet diameter are something I can find and replace mine with? Anybody know whats what?

Summit sells bulk exhaust flange/manifold gasket material, so that would be a thought if you wanted something other then RTV linky

I have some spare gaskets, but they are the larger size too.

What about a Felpro # 9547.

(It's for a 361)

It "looks" smaller at least..

Thanks Oz! The 9547 looks to be what i need. I actually got the number to come up with the later model 400 2bbl cars (which points to how bad these manifolds suck). I assume there mustve been some clearance issue that caused jensen to go with these lumps.

Any exhaust shop, chain or privately owned will have an assortment of gaskets at any time, just stop in and explain what you need, I do it all the time, sometimes they just toss you the gaskets for free and your on your way!

That 9547 gasket is correct for just about anything Mopar, its the same gasket listed for a /6 application too. Figures... most places in town only carry one. I need 2 for my 400 BB.
