I used them or I should say "it" for years.

My old system 1 I first bought in 1998 is still on my old Duster and works great.

Plan on running one on my Dart next year!

I just bought one but havn't had a chance to install it. I bought it because it offered high flow rates that a conventional oil filter couldn't. I have large bearing clearances and noticed a huge jump in oil pressure going from a Napa(wix's) filter to a K&N filter. I hould expect another increase going to the System 1 filter.

Very good stuff. Wished they made a BIG one so I could keep using them.

I have been running one for a few years. Love being able to inspect the filter every oil change without the mess of cutting open a regular filter

I love mine. Just pop the cover off and inspect the filter for any garbage. Going on 4 years now. worth every penny.

How much oil does these filters hold? It would be nice after each race to clean and inspect them and add the right amount of oil back. These high $$$ oil pans do not have dip sticks

I have always thought the oil filter held a quart but do not think the system 1 does.

There is a long and short version.

http://www.system1filters.com/oil_filters.htm

Don't know the capacity although would guess the large is about a quart.
