OK, besides the obvious, the grille, and marker lights, what else in intailed in making a 67 HT 2 door into a 68. Eventually a HEMI clone but for now, just the body, paint, interior, ect.
I know the seats have special seats and brackets like the old 64 era seats, or A100 seats with those special brackets, forgot whch supplier.

I have a 67 POST car thats almost done and now I have a 67 Dart that I have to grab that needs a HEMI hood and the rest.

what read did they come with 8 3/4 or Dana 60?

what gauges, ect to make it look original just for me.

what do I have to do to the grille or radiator core support to make the grille fit?????

do the 68 tail lights go in the same tail panel?? or do I have to change that as well?? and I am guessing the bumper bolts right on??

67's are a bastige child. The wiring is different, single ear on the k-frame for the idler arm, dash pad is 67 only and 68 has a lower pad, tail light housings are different and cannot bolt the 68 tail lights on, side marker lights, fenders are slightly different and headlight bezels may not bolt directly on, plastic windshield moulding on front and rear where 68-up have stainless, so different window gaskets, wing window hardware is different, and of course most of the trim is different, trunk lid has different underbracing, and a few other differences. Besides all that, they are pretty much the same!

if you are building a high dollar clone you should start with a 68

Mine is a 67 turned into a 68 by previous owners in the 70s. Don't know how hard it was to put in 68 tailights, bumper, grill, but that was done on mine. Some of the SS cars have had the side markers removed, so most think mine is a 68. The main things people spot are the VIN tag location and the different dash.
