How far out are your drag tire / wheel combo`s ? I`ve got 3.5 x 15 " Weld Superlites with 26" Phoenix front runners and 12 x 15 " Superlites with 14.5-32-15 Goodyear Slicks just wondering how much weight is typical ?

My front runners take very little to none BUT my slicks
are a whole other story... I've had them take 12oz
and more on a 14 X 32... I havent seen that in quite
some time(I order from a different place)

If the slicks have a real heavy spot and your running race tubes dismount the tires and tubes to see if the tubes had a fold in them when mounted the first time. If so infalte them outside the tire and let sit overnight and then deflate and remount them taking care to make sure the tubes don't get a fold in them again by slowly inflating them to 5 to 7 lbs and then deflating completely several times to make sure the tubes inflate equally throughut the tire with no folds , also use some baby powder in the tire before installing the tubes the second time, if they don't already have a bunch in them now

Mr.Cab Racing and winning with Mopars since 1964. (Old F--t, Huh)
