I lost my dad last year. Every weekend as far back as i can remember was spent with him at the track. Its tough. Getting the car back out to the track really helps. It is defintley what he would want you to do. I wish the best to you, and your family in these hard times.

nothing much any of us here can say to ease the pain or emptyness you`re feeling now.time will ease the pain but you will never forget the good times you and your dad had racing together.part of the reason dads and sons go race together is to create memorys for times like this.believe me your dad will be riding along every time you pull on your helmet.

im so sorry for your loss.my father passed away five years a go on the tuesday before the mopars nats.this is a rough time of year for me.there is not a single day i do not think of him.he is the reason i love cars so much.going to the dragstrip and hanging out in the garage with him when i was young molded my future as a car nut.do your dad proud and finish your dream car and be the best person you can in life.i believe thats what all parents hope for there childern.myself and family have you and your family in our prayer.steve.

Another great mopar man has been promoted I lost my mom this year and it still hurts every day

i went by my work, hung out at the shop, talked with everyone, had some lunch, and did some more work on my honda motor for my car. went by where he worked, i hated seeing his toolbox locked up, and everything where he left it, and his bay empty...

i feel like im at home when im at the shop. i need to get to the race track next chance i can!

I am SORRY about your loss.
I also lost my dad early, I was 17 and he was involved in a train wreck, he was 43.
There is NO way anyone can prepare for the impact of loosing a parent early.

I am like you and am trying to keep his memory alive thru me and the cars we have and own.

I leaned upon a lot of friends and family to help get thru the hard times. And I do mean there will be some Hard Times.

Try and Remember all the Good times you spent with him and around him.

Take Care of yourself and any Family that may need your shoulder to cry on or an ear to talk too.
