Finally a HUSKER again

I have always been a pain in the butt for the machine shops. My 360 accually needed .030 over, but many of my builds only get what they need for a clean up, and true cylinder. It costs more for pistons, but even with my harleys I want a thick cylinder wall. ![](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shruggy.gif) keeps things truer, and cooler in my opinion. Kasey

why dont i ever see motors rebuilt 10,20 over ? its always 30 from stock.
you can have any size piston you want, it is not uncommon to see .003, .005, and .010 over size pistons made in a custom piston. I know racers that have them made in those size increments all the time, I just order a set of 426 hemi pistons for a 4.323 bore size They are more expensive than the standard shelf pistons in the standard oversize bores like, 030, 040, .055, .060 and so on ![](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif)
