Wow, it was toasty warm in Fresno today.
Glad I only stayed for about a half hour to buy a motorcycle and fill up on gas. (it was cheap there actually. )

There is a line at Wal Mart for Tastey Kakes. You have to get the best position or you can't get any.

Had to work on the "Gold Mine" this morning. Blueberries are plentiful around here so there's no shortage or wait. Plenty of tastykakes too. BTW it was in the 80s here also.

My smitey weekend began with a tremendous showing at "Mopar Night" at Cruisin' Grand in Escondido. More than 70 members and invited guests tried to shoehorn all their cars into the reserved parking on the two blocks of Broadway allotted to us. We still ended up turning away cars. Plenty of people were impressed with the stream of coolant that began under a certain red convertible, and continued south under another car or three. Having an nice correct bakelite heater control valve for shows, and actually driving the car hundreds of miles each season does not seem to be a winning combination. That meant being up til midnight with baling wire and bubble gum, so the car could do parade duty in Oceanside the first thing Saturday morning. The car did fine in the parade, and no one had to see what was under the hood to make it all possible. It was great to see a blast from my past, leading a column of current and historical Marine Corps vehicles in the parade. In this staging photo, EST veterans might recall my electrical handiwork, and Gary's smiting, all in one green package.
Down to just a blue car now.

Time for a high-jacking..
You would have to drive or fly to PLF land to have that happen.

I might have to stick with my fresh batch of Cherry Ripes and Wagon Wheels for the moment then perhaps.
Wagon wheels? 15x7 or 14x6 ?
