I get our tags for our business vehicles every year, there's about 20 of them.

A few years ago the lady says" oh you want to license this pickup this year"? I said yes I do every year. She said last year it was not renewed and it was the pickup that I drive everyday. I drove a whole year on expired plates and didn't even know it!! lol I'm one up on the state!!

Try that in California, and they will want the money for the new year
AND the money for the previous year(s) you did not pay
AND exorbitant penalties on the back years.

Unless, of course, you officially placed the vehicle in non-op status way back before you stopped paying them, and paid the money required to do so.

(You read that correctly. You have to pay them money up front to be allowed to quit paying them money.)

Down to just a blue car now.

Upholstery wasn't the last business here.

Apparently, it was something to do with cats.

Sadly....Steve's picture are sorely out of date....

As I was across the street from there mere hours ago, and all of said cat sign is completely pulled down now.

(And luckily, I was not the victim of any molotov cocktail attacks. )

I will be there tomorrow (most likely) and Friday again for sure, so any more up to date photos needed, just say.

Kool.

New pet for when your daughter's new boyfriends come over?

Absolutely

Nice snake picture.

And in case any LEO members visiting this thread are jumping to the conclusion that my 60 mile drive in the clutchless engine-donor were done on tags that were a month out-of-date, I can assure you that wasn't the case at all

as far as you know.

If only you knew someone with an out of country dealer plate, handy for just such a use as driving around non-registered (for the most part) cars.

Seriously?

That falling-off sign has been there forever, and they start taking it the rest of the way off the day AFTER I snap a photo?

The one on the wall facing Manville, between the tracks and the front door, right??

Down to just a blue car now.

I think Peter should get me a spare Vic dealer plate, so I could drive around with it in my car all the time, just in case I make an emergency C/L purchase...

No need to go to Peter for a spare VIC dealer plate.

As of today at around 3:30 pm (give or take) all of the signs were down.

Speaking of signs....Jay put up new signs on the warehouse and all his trucks to help offset the place across the street taking all of thiers down.

That is what you get for taking the scenic route..

(will be there Friday loading if you happen to be needing a viewing of the current sign situation at Felix )

PS. Be sure and remind me to tell you about the customer tonight who asked if we were close to "LA" to check out a motorcycle.

We said, that is not far away...

Until he metioned something about 'Shreveport'.

I guess to an Aussie...one LA is the same as another La.

*Daily Compton update:

They started putting up new roofing on the place today.

More updates tomorrow, as I will down there all day loading a container.
