I wonder if I could have ordered an odometer that read in Roman Numerals ?

(took these tonight on the way back from dropping my Aussie buddy off at the airport to head home)

PS...took these at 70 mph (no traffic around), the 6 speed automatic trans in these things sure keep the rpm down at highway speed!

I suppose they could drop them II?

Anyway, just a bit of trivia, I am sure no one here has any possible use for a side view of I.

Why is your truck inside a giant cooler.
57*F? No way it is outside.
Unless the PLF has got their weather ray working.

Tell me about it.. It's been in the mid 70's here all week (perfect for loading containers actually!) but it broke today and the clouds came in tonight.

I am on Extreme-PLF lookout mode...rain = Smite of course

Almost forgot one of my many unique "jobs" the past few weeks..

Had an order from a customer for a vortec Chevy 350/4L60E and complete engine bay and dash wiring loom for a late 90's Chevy truck.
After a looking craigslist searching I found the perfect (and cheap) donor... A 1999 Suburban....looked to be in pretty decent shape complete with grey leather interior, full power, etc,etc and after driving up into the mountains to check it out, did the deal on it for the paltry sum of $1600

Since only the engine bay stuff was needed, there is no need to ship the entire thing. (saves alot of room of course)

So without further ado....

Before

One pile ready for the container, the other ready for the scrap yard.

Oh, and while cutting the floor, I had forgotten the thing had rear heat/air...and while cutting through the sill I was reminded of this fact as water started pouring out.

Ready to go in.

And have a guy who wanted the leather interior in Oz, and another for the power doors too so worked out well in the end for the pretty cheap purchase price, along with a few sawzall blades

I could have used the nice pretty rustfree front fenders on my '94.

I found some different Czech "belts" but they won't ship them here.

Here
They will ship to a certain state where winds come sweeping down the plains, but the site won't even allow me to purchase them with my billing address.

Did you promise them the Czech would be in the mail?
