Being in NY, I would imagine they have the impressive collection as well.

Lots of subways around there too....is there a department there in FAO with toy C.H.U.D.S. ?

Much prefer the undercover PLF agents to SLF members.

They wanted to be the Arachnid Liberation Front, but ALF is too embarrassing.

Hence me going with the Spider Liberation Front acronym

It's enough to worry about the PLF and ZLF as it is though, let alone a IIIrd acronym'd group.

I bought a small Steiff one, expensive brand. I passed on the larger ones considering I bought one 4ft tall for less.

You kidding - I'd buy a toy C.H.U.D. immediately. Maybe I'll go into the Apple store and look for some since its kinda below there.

Any life sized Wombats ?
(saw one in Oz once, sure was temping, after nearly having run one over before )

I did get a pretty-much-life-sized Kookaburra on my first trip there from the animal sanctuary I visited. They have the coolest "movie sounding" voice to them!

But factor in the shipping

FAO is the nation's oldest toy store.

Check this big elephant:

I love the choking hazard warranty. Nearest I can figure is it might reach out and actually choke a child.

The giraffe has the same small-parts warning.

Be cool to buy one of each and scatter them around the yard just to freak people out.

Need a giant Hippo to go with the collection though!
