Yesterday I finished the zombie documentary "The Walking Dead". I should use it as a ZLF anti-anti-zombie combat training film.
Awesome watch right?
Excellent! They put together a great cast of characters, all of which were believable. The special effects were good and they while they definitely had gore, it wasn't over the top or gore for gore's sake. I thought that promiscuous wife was hot too!

Oh, and I picked up the new release of Aliens on bluray. Supposed to be really great picture and audio quality, can't wait to check it out later!
Awesome so far!!
Picture quality is indeed killer... (on the big screen really makes it pop of course too!)

I am assuming this is a Director's Cut version?
Aliens is about the best director's cut film I have seen when compared to the original theatrical release. Finding out about Ripley's daughter who grew old and died childless while Ripley was snoozing all those years in the escape pod took so little screen time, yet contributed so much to her character development and added depth to her relationship with Newt. I still am baffled why they found the need to cut that short scene.
Down to just a blue car now.

Just ended.... Seen it a ton of times, but an Awesome movie that never gets "old" And the bluray has both versions of the film, I of course watched the directors cut one. And I do agree about those scenes..they really add to the movie and help explain more of her feelings, etc.
