I just got in the mail the original 1982 version of Tron on DVD. I have yet to get a Bluray player. Probably when I get back to the States and also buy a high-def big-screen TV.

Whew...I'm glad....
Didn't feel like flying there tonight really.. 
I've seen it a ton of times too, but was ordering something the other day from Amazon for a guy in Oz, and saw they had the bluray of it real cheap, so just added it onto the cost of the thing for the other guy

Over the Summer, I watched it on the big screen in digital 3-D. The 3-D effects were awesome. No red/blue fringes and the film makers did not do cheap gags with the 3-D effects. Very nicely done. I liked the movie much more than the storyline would have dictated. It may have to be somewhat due to Olivia Wilde...

No CHUDs... the crawl space is enclosed and the vents are secure. The cat has been exploring though 
Got the joists in this afternoon - just BARELY enough room to squeeze my chest between the rocky dirt and the beams. They are now level, so getting the tub level should be easier. Also I rerouted the vent pipe so it has minimal effect on the joists instead of just hacking half the 2x8 away. I also got an impromptu shower when one of the soft-copper water lines objected to my bending it out of the way. Capped them off too - I'm going to put in PVC or CPVC anyway.

Glad you were CHUD-safe! And been watching the bluray of Escape From NY (just up the fight scene with Snake and Ox) and even though I have seen the movie a million times, always like seeing it again  The audio seems better on this, and the picture quality is real nice too (for how old a print it is to begin with) I noticed a couple things I had not before  I am watching it on my projector, not an LCD HD set...and it will only run 1080i, not 1080p...still has excellent contrast with the very dark nature of the movie.
