Follow that line of site far enough & it would hit very close to LA.

That island (Gravina) even has a fault line that intersects with the San Andreas (sp).

An island that is no where, with a mountain on it, which contains an airport...

Sounds very Stephen King-esque..

If you fly into the no-where island, do you just magically appear onto your driveway ?
