Is one day a year to much to ask? I think not.
With that in mind, I checked ALL national holidays & I found a day where there are NO conflicting holidays at all.

Speaking of zombies and outages, a Kwajalein zombie training exercise will terminate all forms of communication to Kwajalein starting in about four hours. Everything will be out; phone, internet, TV, ATM, etc. It will be a Road Warriorish post-apocalyptic scenario where hoodlums will roam the streets and everyone fends for themselves. Sort of like the upcoming scenario when the ZLF puts into effect its plan for world domination.
Ok, at least the part about the communication outages is true. See you folks on the other side early next week.

Make sure to post during the outage, describing what it's like to be completely out of touch.
As an aside, the wife often accuses me of being in that condition, even without the island and the nuke-u-lar crabs...

Sounds like something the ZLF would organize all right..
I heard that not only will all communications be cutoff, but somehow they have the power to simultaneous stop all home-made beer from brewing 
Be sure and let us know as soon as the test starts. I will keep an eye out your directions for smoke signals, or semaphore code.
