i just spent the better part of the day today trying to get the reproduction interior trim pieces around my back window in my 68' coronet, i had to finally use my dry rotted old trim and it fell apart in 3 places, the reproduction pieces wld not fit, i beat and banged for hours, could not get the new pieces to work, the old pieces fell right into place, i put the new pieces back in their new box, does anybody know i can fix the holes in my old trim now?

Did they send you the right trim pieces? How did they match up to the originals?
Sounds like they sent the wrong ones to me.

Dante's part # mp-5104-rea window trim-68/70 coronet 6c, they do match up pretty close to the orginal, however they are a bit longer,
the box from trim parts, has 68/70 coronet on it
?

Just went through this on a 69 coronet.Make sure where it attatches is nice and straight(we had to bend ours in a few places)and lay the new trim in the sun for a while to soften it up.We couldn,t get ours to start(even tapping with a rubber mallet)but after warming in the sun they they slipped right on.
