Agreed all you need is a ball peen hammer. Set your purse down, and hit it HARD (on the side of the centerlink right where the tapered hole is).

I don't even own a pickle fork.




There's got to be a limit on hammer blows before I would start worrying about a safety issue. On some cars the pan has to come off so often it should have zippers






Not to mention that the center link(and other nearby parts that suffer the wrath of the errant blow) will start to look beat and nicked up after doing it this way.
