If you use T&D individual rocker arms for 440-1 do you have to use spray bars on the valve covers? IF so do the 440-1 indy valve cover work work or do you need custom valve covers?
Can you use another way of oiling the top end like different lifters (ex. like chevy that they take the oil upstairs) is this possible?
If this is possible what works better spray bars or lifter the oil the top?

Not sure on the 440-1's.
I'm using shaft mounted T&D's on my victor heads and oiling through the pushrods.

You can oil either way. I had spray bars in my Indy covers and they were fine. I also oiled up through the pushrods and that worked fine. If you oil through the pushrod you must use a block with a tall lifter boss (Mega Block). On a stock block the Comp lifters will go past the top of the lifter boss and not keep oil pressure. I also got Smith Brothers pushrods with a small hole (restricted) to keep the amount of oil down in the top end.

T&Ds oil through the pushrods with the correct lifters.
Sprays bars keep the valve springs cool in endurance
applications.

I am running the fullshaft t&d's on Indy -1's and I am not running spray bars or pushrod oiling, is that going to be a problem for me?

It shouldn't, htey are a commonshaft rocker set up that oils through the shaft, just like the originals.

I have the full. single shaft T&D on my SR headed 526, no problems so far, other than having one pushrod break in the middle
