Has anyone heard if they are doing the No Box shootout like they tried last year? It was like 500 entry fee winner take all.

It shows that they are having it on my norwalk flyer I just got in the mail. Doesn't say how much, just says "Big Buck Winner Take All Bracket Race"

Cool. Does it say the entry fee on the flyer? or how many cars are entering?

Nope, nothing else. Maybe Eddie will chime in on this subject. I was wondering myself how much it would be.

$500 entry fee?

What do all of us middle class people do while the big buck Gamblers are running? Isn't the event entry fee enough?

You ever seen AJ race? He prolly rolled out of bed on a pile of $100 dollar bills that he won at his previous outing Or he has a mountain of sponsors waiting to enter him into the race

Does this mean that the shootout is on? Is it the same format as last year. 500 entry winner take all?

Thank you both for the kind words

I had a facebook posting last night from Eddie telling me they had a shootout that was "right up my alley" as he called it. So I am assuming that means yes.

Here is the race details.
32 Car fields $500 entry. There will be a Box race and a No box Race. Races will be 1/8 mile on Saturday night we will pay Winner $8,000 - Runner-up $4,000 and Semi's at least $1,000. We are looking at doing some different things with remaining money. Like best losing package and best over all package.I will let you know the remaining details soon like when the sign-ups will start and where to send money.
Thank You
Eddie

That is a sweet race. I am definitely wanting in the No Box race. Might even get in the Box race as well.
