I ran across this ad on eBay the other day and gave them a call (they should really get rid of the non-application-specific photo): http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/727-TF8-C...sQ5fAccessories
They said that they make all of their converters in-house (U.S.A.), and all orders can be customized at no extra cost. $299 (plus $35 for shipping and another $35 core charge) isn't bad.
I know that you usually get what you pay for, but I just might roll the dice on this one.
Has anyone had any experience with these?

Maybe it's a GER? Disquised by using another name? Don't know if I'd waste $300.00 on an unknown.
Call Lenny at Ultimate in Milford, CT. He'll hook you up with a great converter at a reasonable price.

I'll give Turbo Action a call, but I may still roll the dice and buy the eBay converter. If it turns out to be junk I'll be sure to let everyone know.
I'm really just looking for a back-up for my B&M Holeshot converter. "Why?" you ask? I'm tired of 2 week turn-arounds while I try and figure out this mess: https://board.moparts.org/ubbthreads/show...rue#Post5344473

keep this in mind if it fails it could cost you a trans

the email they have is one of those free gmail accounts which is what the scammers all use

any convertor company worth their salt would have a web site at the very least

beware
