well my Charlies pan showed up today
Charlie did a awesome job on the custom pan for the R5 motor

segmented 4 pickup

Sure hope the pan doesn't have a folded and welded edge....Mine leaked all the way around it right thru the welds even though I specified billet rail...

i bought a 6 stage barnes pump

the segmented pans are supposed to be worth some HP

I have a 6 Stage Auto Verdi pump for my engine, I will have to look into a pan like yours.

That is one nice pan, please explain the segmented part (term)...ive seen alot of or R5 pans that were open throught the whole pan bottom, mine is sectioned off, but I dont think its what your refering to as segmented????

Ive also the barns unit.....

Are most running a front drive dist??? vs the rear mount????

The segmented is the vertical walls at each main web,
for every segmented area you either allow the oil
to travel between them or have a suction line in
each segment, helps on windage

i did the front belt drive dist to keep any harmonics from the ign. with a crank trigger, should be a good setup for the RPM's i plan on spinning it

i plan on putting it on the dyno very soon to play with it to see what it likes

Looks good but will sound much better at about 9500 rpm
