which parachute (brand also) you guys suggest to buy? I dont know yet my race car weight because too much parts is still missing. I belive it may come around 3000-3100 lbs Also what advantage is on CO2 release parachute system on "spring release" parachutes? Is there even any? There is huge price difference but is it worth to use CO2 release parachute kit? Thanks a lot

A parachute with a launcher is way easier to pack than a chute with only a pilot. If I were you, I wouldn't be so concerned about the style. We have a Stroud, no launcher, only a pilot, and it seems to work just fine. Itäs a "pro stock" chute, and with hte brakes it works just fine with a 3500 lbs car from 170+ mph.

I always say I will buy a stroud with a lancher, and I always see the prices and buy with a pilot. But if you plan to pull it every pass spend the extra cash for a launcher type. I race typically all 1/8 mile at mid 120's 3300lbs and can stop fine with the brakes and have the chute for just in case situations.
One day I will have something cool here.
