Never seen one, how is it used? I use a Valley brand u shaped lock that goes over the tongue and locks into the ball area on one trailer and a boot type on my other trailer. The boot type I think would slow down the thieves the longest.

it's ok to butt heads, just don't do it with a butthead

it never hurts to have a good lock but on a trailer door the latch is the weak link not the lock.

I hate to rain on your parade, but my old tag trailer and it got broken into with Abus Granit locks on the rear door. The thieves just pounded the latch mechanism off the door and left the locks alone. It appeared they were pros at knowing how easy this was going to be. Lost over 25K worth of stuff.

Same thing happen to me. I had exspensive locks on my trailor doors. They just cut the latch right above the lock. I think the latches are made of tinfoil, but im not sure.

My new trailer has the latches in the door as well because of the previous theft. I know they aren't bullet proof, but what really is? I am more concerned with someone taking the entire rig now than I am with having something taken from the trailer. There have been alot of entire rigs stolen this year and most law enforcement don't have the man power to put alot of effort into getting your stuff back. I have added what I needed so I can locate my own stuff without having to have the police activate a Lojack....imagine their surprise.
