Although the white hat special was referred to as either a white or black vinyl top in one commercial. Anyway it brought back some fond memories and isn't this why we restore these old classic muscle cars.....so we can be 18 years old again? I have to get older but I don't have to grow up!

I just don't buy that line of thinking. I do think the owner of this car is being optimistic of its value. Most people wouldn't spend more for a V02 car. There is more value in other options like 3.91 gears or AC or Air Grabber and so forth. However, I do salute the owner for wanting to restore it back to spec, including the wheel covers!
