Is the P5007860 an early "first generation" ministarter?
What the heck is the difference between a P5249644 and a P5249644AB?
I see the P5249644AB referred to in many different places as a "small block" starter???!?!
What gives?

Anybody know?

I've used factory 360 starters on my 440s many a time over the years, I can't figure out why a "small block" tag would be stuck on the same part number with an AB suffix.....?
Alberta?
