I saw these at Summit: http://summitracing.com/parts/RUS-650040/

Any experience with them or something similar?

can't realy see the need for quick release trans lines. mine are -6 braided so if i need to remove the trans i can lower it down for easy access to the fitting.

Saw them I thought they might be good for carb fittings, although that leak doesn't sound good to me...

How many trannies do you blow up daily that these would be beneficial for cooler lines ?

No advantage, just don't need and plugs for the lines or trans fitting,no mess.My thoughts is just something that can screw-up.

I had them until one sprung a leak

I have a buddy who had them on a Dart. They would leak at the most inopportune times, like right before the first round.

Been running quick release coupling on my tranny for about 2-3 years now & never had an issue with leaking or not re sealing.

Mine are Jiffy-tite quick connect fluid fittings, blurb states:
6061-T6 Aluminium body, anodized Black n Gold, stainless steel ball bearings, etc.

Expensive over here, they are about $80 a pair (Male & F/male)without hose, but was fortunate ti have a deal with the shop owner, based on previous purchases.
Like I said they dont leak & do come in handy, if money was tight, I would spend money elsewhere
