It looks like they both have header panels so I think they are both Cuda's.

Went to Pomona for the So Cal Finals yesterday..
The Hemi's were running strong..
Houser, Raines both ran low 8.70s' @ 151..
Also Mean Fish ran but I didn't catch his time or speed.
Track conditions were excellant along with cool temperatures..

Thanks for the tech and pictures in the recent article in Mopar Muscle (Jan 2008 issue). The info sure went a long way in helping this fan understand the technology and R&D that goes into todays SS/AH power plants. Keep up the great work.

There is a great Harry Holton interview at www.MoparMax.com that is worth checking out.
My here. I am really impressed by Mike Bogina's SS/DA car. Street Hemi at 3600lbs running low 9:30s. Another The Wescotts running so good doesn't surprise me. Before the Hemis they ran Chevies with sticks in them and it wasn't uncommon to see 4 or 5 national records at a time in different classes held by C.W. They represented Division 3 well, they always ran hard and fast. Another Hey Julie Jordan, that looked like a heck of a close race for class at the SportsNationals with Billy B. I was getting bored at work this afternoon and I thought I'd just throw that out there. Have a nice day everybody!!!

It was a great drag race! The time slip showed I had him all the way down the track until the stripe. It was fun especially considering we do no work on the car and that was my only race this year. Thanks for noticing!!

I've seen some underconstruction pics posted on the web , but can't find them now.
Looking for cage , rear frame / suspension of newer SS/AH builds. Isn't round tube legal now ?

Thanks
Bud

a few noted hemi names on that car,, hale,, banning, slaughter, macullum... he bought that car from hale? hale has been saying for awhile that he was going to build a 383 for ss/ia..

round tube is legal,, you can have the lowest part of the tube no higher than the highest part of the floor pan.

is that a legal ss/ah car? in the one picture you can see the sheet metal that is between the frame rails and it looks non-stock,, like its got rolled beads in it or something. you must have the stock floor between the frame rails and from where the old frame rail was to the body panels, ie rear quarters and so on.
