Hey gang. I recently acquired a 69 Charger and the light doors are up all the time. I noticed the "coffee" can is rusted and the two vac hoses that go to it are now attached. Is there any trick to get them to work or do I need a new vac can? A Charger looks cooler with the lights hidden. Thanks in advance!!!

You can make them work by running the vacuum line directly from manifold/carb, split it with a T and go straight to the actuators. I don't think you will be very happy without the canister as you might have to rev the engine to move the headlight doors. Might at least be a temperary fix.
