The article is actually very good. Why would CW give any tricks out after all his hard work.

CW can we do the race for 100k at the Dutch.

And thanks for the email replies to my question.

money usualy quiets big mouths.

the idea for the article was that when I was little I always read articles about engines, car construction etc. now all you read about is chrome and paint. I thought some cool pics of engines, and some text by the pics would give people an idea of what goes into an engine. That was john rains engine in that article. "uncle jesse" I have it here now putting WARHEADS and intake on it. I should have it done in a week or so.

CW i could not agree more. One of the reasons i read Circle Track and Racing technology is not because i race in circles but there tech articles are great. I also read race car engineering, most contains to road racing or nascar big time, but just reading about what these teams and companies do to produce additional power and reliability is unreal. I rather read about that then see some show cars.

CW if your ever bored and want to play around with a 383 stocker motor let me know

Too bad there wasn't a picture of your billet manifold in the article. I saw the Tueton's at the Nobile division race and that is one fine looking piece.

those pics were taken a year ago at this time. I was just starting the head program at that time. Those are still remodeled heads in that article. I will have that motor back together in a week or so with some good heads on it, and one of the new billet manifolds. I will post a pic at that time.

go for it (picture). I have said before anyone that thinks you are gonna learn anything from the outward appearance of an engine has a lot to learn. barton makes his guys cover their intakes all the time, I always wondered if they had a cold.

and thanks for setting the record straight allen, lets see spin those facts around.

I retracted my earlier posts due to the comments by Allen Sherman. My information was from what I thought was a reliable source close to the Teuton camp (it wasn't Jeff). Since we have a first hand account, please disregard my earlier posts on the Warheads.

I know it sure has been good to see the Southland boys running good. I'm already for next season. Should be exciting.

That would be the one Stewart. I admit my Hemi inexperience, until May of this year i had never seen the inside of one, i have always raced and built chevy's. So i wasn't aware of the problem with the gasket milodon supplies with the filter adapter. Now i know and it won't happen again. Thankfully Little Joe didn't wreck because i would have felt really bad about my lack of knowledge of this problem causing something bad to happen to him. We are very excited about getting a fresh start and catching up some since we really only had half a year together this year but we've made some good progress and the fact that we can race year round down here might give us a little aadvantage because we will be testing while most will be snowed in...Gotta LOVE the south...lol

Allen --- have you come up with a fix for the gasket problem

That damn problem has been around for over 30 years, and Milodon says not a problem
more cars have crashed because of that and still they do not address the problem

I have a couple of fixes for it if you are interested --- I am not selling anything - just giving out ideas

Stewart

Stewart, Muscle Motors sells a new oil pump cover that fixes the Milodon Problem. There are others out there, but the MM piece is the best bang for the buck.
