i have a 1977 440 with the numbers 4006630 cast on the side is this just a standard 440 block or different. i had heard that the 630 block was beefier.......

That's a standard casting number for the 440 block of that era, there is nothing special about the 440 blocks , the only thing different between the HP ,non hp and industrial/truck , is what's stamped on the ID pad

400's are getting very hard to find.

If you had read what I said up there ... TRUCK/INDUSTRIAL covers the motorhome

BUT ... They have extra holes that won't line up with anything other than the 452's you are buying
