That chart says that a 205/70/15 should be on a minimum of a 5.5 wheel. I have a 205 on a 4" wheel and it works very well. I can't say for a 215 on a 3.5 though. Chris from New Jersey

JMO

Going an inch to an inch and a half up or down from the sugested rim width is doable in most cases depending on the sidewall of the tire. Going almost 3 inches under, I wouldn't do it
