Buy a thin, short 1-1/8" wrench from McMaster Carr, PN 5403A25 (or cut one down from a swap meet). About $20. Sooooo much easier to use when the car is on the ground.

Harbor freight buy one end wrench cut it in half and then cut another portion out of the box end, so it will slip over the bolt.Works great

The 1-1/8" angle wrench out of this harbor freight set. For $20 a set for 3/8" through 1 1/4", It's a steal. I only carry the one wrench. The nuts don't need to be torqued down, just snug. -Tom.

dont cut any more wrenches down, just go to Home Depot and buy the small Channel lock crescent wrench, it is small adjustable and works great.
