Mine is dead on 10.22/1.42. 3400# with MT street tires. Calculator says 1.42.....Matt

I have seen a sixty foot change from 1:43 to 1:52 from a low(180 ft above sea level) altitude track to a higher altitude(2500 FT ASL) with no changes to the car Traction ,parts, HP and torque help determine the sixty foot times

But Cab, the ET changed as well, right? The calculator determines the 60' based on the ET, so altitude wouldn't be part of that equation. It already affected the ET, so the slower 60' would follow.

The ET does change as well, your right. I don't use calculators to determine my results, just the time slips LOL, test, test and test some more to get results, good or bad

The calculator says I should have a 1.79 sixty foot, it goes 1.81 so it's pretty close. With worn out drag radials, SS springs, and truck shocks, I guess that's not too bad. My best ET is 12.91.

This means the converter is a little tight for the cam and where it is degreed and the car goes aways before it hits it's power band will act like a sudden increase in power like you just gave it more throttle.

And add that some vacuum actuated 4 barrels come on what to late with improper spring tuning and sometimes diaphram leaks and other problems.




In other words your leaving before the converter flashes?
