To take a coment from Leo Getz character from Lethal Weapon 3 I believe..I pick up Kentucky Fried Chicken while running around south jersey today..I order the New 22.00 bucket of chicken and sides..total 23.00.I ask the guy what can I get as my drink he sheepishly replied uhhh the drink is Not Included!!! It's another 2.00 bought separately. Fortunately I had a water in the jeep.Just ridiculous its the principal of it,a drink always comes with a meal deal ,F-ers!

KFC is nasty. Small pieces, greasy, no flavor, poor service...pretty much describes all fast food nowadays.

Yeah it used to be better.A cigar and wine helps it!Better once it's been refrigerated Lol!

I eat KFC a couple times a month, the one's near me are great! Never had a bad meal and pretty reasonable compared to other fast food places these days...

I love Fried Chicken. I believe Publix Market makes the best. When I visit my in-laws in Venice - my first stop is for chicken!

Like a lot of fast food joints, KFC are franchised.

Consequently, some are great, some are meh, and some are bad. Hiring good, reliable employees post-covid is not easy--especially in food service.

I like their chicken.

I don't think KFC meal offers have included drinks for at least the last decade or more.

My Daughter worked at one of them during high school and became one of their assistance managers at that store in SO CA after graduating, the owner owned and operated several other stores in that area also, I'm not sure if it was three or seven stores total. My message is I believe all of the KFC are franchises, not company owned and operated stores anymore
Point being it is on the owners and managers to control the quality

Next door tossed me outta the club,now I'm here for all to enjoy!Lol!But yes yes kfcs don't all serve chicken as well as others that is true.Years ago any KFC you went to was great as well was Arby's,Chick FIL A etc...times have changed ! My wife cookesnlike a chef so maybe I should just stay with her food,I need to better anyway..aside from the Rockey Patel cigarettes and Mondavi red wine.Lol

I'm one who prefers water just never cared for any of the carbonated drinks except beer. gave that up almost 7 years ago.

A lot of people who were in any industry hit hard by the covid times took the opportunity to re-train for jobs with better pay & working conditions. Or in the case of entertainment technical staff, a more stable lifestyle....most people in that business were/are freelancers, and have money put aside for lean times, but nothing of that length/scale. And then they discovered they could work half as hard in a gig like selling real estate & make way more money.

Before covid I’d hit the all you can eat buffet, chicken wing after wing, 10 to 15 of them, unlimited other stuff too, cherry cobler, mash taters and cole slaw, $8.90.
