Can someone give me some information on this brace? Was this used on a 70 b body and was this used for a ralley dash or non ralley?
Thanks in advance

69-70 B-body..... yes , non rallye dash only, It was there help prevent (possible) twisting of the pedal / steering column support cage with manual trans. cars. Strange thing too, the pedal / steering column support cage was the same if you had the standard dash or the rallye dash..... so someone at mopar thought that only the standard dash's twisted?? If you have a rallye dash remove that brace or you'll never get that dash in. Don't worry your dash will not twist or buckle...... unless that area is completely rusted out.

Later, BUZZ

You absolutely nailed it!!! HOME RUN!
Putting my car back together with a lifetime of parts...I put the brace in and realized the brace was preventing my tic toc tach from going in. What was throwing me for a loop was why a standard dash would need it and a ralley doesn't. I took the brace out and now my ralley dash fits perfect.
Thanks for keeping my sanity!
