I’m dealing with the sister company of Classic Auto Air out of Florida, Original Air. I’ve ordered the shaft seal and the hose seal kit. They are almost impossible to communicate with. They put you on hold for 1/2 hour before they even answer. Sometimes it just times out and hangs up. When I do finally get them, I still get a delaying excuse. Ive sources all the other parts I need, except the o ring that fits the front of the discharge side of a 70 b body. It’s not the gasket or the metal gasket but an o ring the fits in a groove on the hose side. Does anyone have a better source they have found? I have one or two that may work but I can’t test them until I get the shaft seal here. I’ve got a nitrogen bottle to pressurize the system. Any help is appreciated. I can’t find a part number in any book for this o ring or I would try that. Help.

I recently bought a reman RV2 compressor from this ebay seller, he also helped me out on the correct connector for a compressor clutch I had bought from someone else. I believe he owns or owned a rebuilding service and seems to have a lot of RV2 parts, seems like a good guy-

Also bought a compressor clutch key and the little wire retainer clip for the RV2 cylinder head from this seller, and he also seems to have a bunch of RV2 stuff-

I messaged them both through ebay and they responded quickly with what I was looking for. Might be worth a shot.

Original Air really went down-hill since COVID-world as respects Customer Service.
I sold my car with AC a few years ago and have an RV2 compressor and some extra clutches/pulleys left over if you are interested.

I’ve got lots of old rv2 compressors. It’s the service gaskets, etc, that I need.

Last time I needed that O ring. I hit my local auto parts store ( not AutoZone either ) and had them match it up with a nitrile Oring.

I’ve done that but it does look a little small and I’m afraid it won’t seal. Once I get all my parts in, I can assemble everything, evacuate and test with nitrogen to be sure.

Try googling 2008388. That’s the discharge oring at the compressor.

I leave already done that. It’s in the parts book and it does not look quite right in the picture but I found some anyway on eBay and bought them. It’s actually the o ring the that goes on the EPR valve. I needed it anyway. I finally found the correct one in the kit from Old Air Products.
