As I understand it, VIN sequences started each model year with 100000 correct? Considering test mules (new model), big-wig cars, press vehicles etc, what would be about the first VIN you'd expect the general public/dealer inventory to see?

each plant started at 100001 - just about any number can get out to the general public - many early/low VIN cars are basic transportation to get the line familiar with the new models
