I remember Dave from the old old OLD board here. It's a fine line between arrogance and confidence, and I think for some here back then, Dave walked that line often. He certainly wasn't afraid to tackle challenges, be it building websites, building Mopars like his wagon, or more recently, battling failing health. He was a wealth of knowledge, though, Mopars in general and Magnums in particular, and he often had the answers I needed when I was a Magnum guy myself.

While I used to think of him in terms of Magnums, I came to think of him with his '60 Plymouth drag wagon; both he and the car were unique, a bit crazy and definitely over the top.

Rest in peace, Dave.

Is this the same guy that had a 80 or 81 Imperial drag car? Or do I have the wrong person.

There was also a guy way way back called Elvis that was pretty high strung. Although is seems he had a Duster (i think).

Either way RIP to whichever one that has passed away.

Elvis was Eddie, purple Duster, different than Dave.

I remember the Big Kahuna. He bought a car I wanted to get 10+ years ago.It was a Daytona clone made from a Charger 500.
He flipped it a week later and that owner flipped it again.

Dave was very proud of his money and made sure everyone knew it.He wasn't a pleasant person on this site.

Sorry to see him pass. Moparstyle, Moparweb. Chit chatted with him now and then.

I never met him. I didn't like his on line persona but I don't know what he was like in real life. Might have been a great guy.

Met him a couple times over the years. He was very cordial, and decent to talk with.
