RIP Mike. Anyone have a photo of Mike or his car?
Name sounds very familiar. Was he a trails regular?

He drove a yellow challenger with a gutted interior and tinted windows for years, ran low 10's. He got a 92 Hunter green daytona with a primer black nose about 3 years ago. He was at trails a bit.

Was this the gentleman that they had in the ambulance at the track (CC event this past weekend),,,and had someone else drive his car down the lanes,,,,while he was watching from the ambulance ?? They said he wanted to see and hear his car down the track "one more time",,,,

I was up in the lanes at that time,,,

choked me up a bit seeing the family and his car,,,,

We where parked near the pits where all the cars where and it was a very touching scene when he came over after they made the pass with his car.

My heart goes out to his family and freinds and I will remember that for a very long time.

Very sad...

I beleive I met him at the Mopar Nationals a few years ago. We were all standing in the lanes and he just walked up to me and started talking. If this is the same guy he was a really likeable man. My condolences to his friends and family.
