I would rather see Christine 2 and it come back to life continuing in the junk yard from the moving piece of trim as it ended in the first movie after being covered by hundreds of other crushed cars after so many years. Once uncovered, it starts all over again.

That's a cool idea! I sent a message to Blumhouse producersb to see when it'll come out.I heard it's coming out and is in the 1950s maybe it starts from the time christine kills the line worker that's smoking the cigar and spills cigar ashes on her front seat and she movies up the seat to kill him with the steering wheel?

The movie will be called "Chris" so that it does not offend either male or female (or any other non-binary) genders. The vehicle that they are using is a Tesla.

Can we get the Mexican cartels to help us with our supply chain issues? They don't seem to have any trouble getting stuff from one place to another.

Tesla would be fine as I wouldn't be on board with destroying more '58 Plymouths to make a movie. Probably would do all the crushing/uncrushing scenes with CGI these days anyway. Would be cheaper and easier than messing with a real car.

Couldn't agree more! I hate what the movie did to the value/perception of 57/58 Plymouths. Can't stand to see another red one. My first car was a 57 Plymouth 2 dr sedan, 301 four barrel. What a blast. Of course that was a couple of decades before Christine.

If its like all the other great old movie remakes have been, I'm not going to see it. Nobody can come up with anything creative anymore so they remake old stuff. I think it's because they were taught what to think not how to think. Sadly the new generation has no clue it isn't new. I was listening to a remake of an old song in a store and asked the young counter girl who was singing it because it was a decent remake. She was adamant that it wasn't a remake it was just released. I didn't want to bust her bubble but she was so wrong and had no idea. Welcome to my being old I guess.. LOL

At least with today's CGI and AI they won't have to ruin more real Plymouths for the sequel.

They can have a few nice furys as close up cars nice paint and body and interior shots. Then use fury bucks of body's that get destroyed along with cgi that hopefully look good.

Here's my hot take on this:
Carpenter's Christine (1983...same age as myself) did well enough, but anyone who has read the book knows that a lot of interesting details got axed for one reason or another. Buddy and Darnell's death scenes, for example, both would've been absolutely mental compared to the somewhat tame versions the movie shot. (Yes, the exploding gas station was wicked and the flaming Fury scenes are iconic, but still...)
I also hated how they barely dealt with Roland LeBay and made George, his brother, carry the load.
I think there's plenty of room to make a Christine reboot work properly, without wrecking a single Fury. CGI isn't as laughable as it once was. If they remember to pick up the novel and see what was cut last time, there's a chance this could actually be decent.
