I must ask what do you not like about your dual quad setup? Edelbrock or Offenhauser? Dual quads are so @#$!! cool but both carbs must be of sound condition and calibrated correctly. I had a 440 with the Edelbrock manifold and 2 500cfm Edelbrock carbs. Very fun and super good looks.

If your considering fuel injection do it for the tinkering and fun factor brought by a self adjusting and easy to tune system. I say this because the cost of the correct and complete conversion to a Sniper type system will be around $3000. The added expense of switching to FI could buy a lot of gas- even at $3 per gallon. Also keep in mind the Sniper type systems are not built to OEM quality nor do they offer the diagnosing that an OBD2 OEM system does. Some think the aftermarket systems offer the same monitoring and DTC code displays of an OEM system and they do not. Your dual quad set up- although not super super valuable will still bring you a nice bit of money if you sell it.

I am also thinking about going to a Sniper fuel injection setup. I put the basic Sniiper system on my 440 based 511 stroker. I also used the HyperSpark distributor and the HyperSpark CDI box. I have to say it was a steep learning curve. The supposed "self learning" only adjusts the fuel table to meet the air fuel table that you create. The spark advance table that the Holley wizard creates isn't good. The Holley Sniper forum is a good place to go to get some advice on setting it up. I have the car running pretty good now, but it took a while to get it there. In retrospect, I would go with the higher end Terminator Stealth series. It has more tuning capabilities. The Sniper 2 is not mature yet. Just my 2 cents.
74 Challenger, bought it new. In 1978 I replaced the original 318 with a 446 and 727. Mild cam, Jardine headers, and Holley Sniper EFI. New engine! 511" RB, Edelbrock Performer RPM heads, Eagle rotating assy, Comp hyd roller cam, Doug's 2" headers.

That's a 68-69 440 manifold, yes it will bolt to a 67. What heads do you have, 915 or 516? Either way it will fit but the ports may not match exactly unless you have 906 heads... 915, 516 and 906's all use the same intake valley pan so there shouldn't be an issue with port alignment , the only issue would be if he was going to use the stock 67 AFB , the bolt pattern to he intake is different.

No. The 4326 and 4327 AFB carbs that came on the 178 intake in 1967 have the same large bolt pattern as the AVS and Holley.
