Hi all,

I'm hoping our Hemi guys can zero me in trying to find which ATI crank damper to use with the Milodon 13000 flat cover gear drive.

Milodon says any OEM style ATI damper because they supply spacers for adjustments.

ATI can't give specifics but seem to think the 917470E would work and keep belt alignment with stock type cover.

I also saw ATI 917122E but it does not keep belt aligment.


Is there anyone using the 13000 gear drive and can give the correct ATI part number?

I couldn't use My ATI damper with a Indy cast aluminum front cover. The dimensions of the thick casting all around made it too thick and the damper rubbed before pressed all the way on. I had to go back to a OEM style front cover to clear. If you do purchase a ATI damper get the BBC bolt pattern center hub. Much easier to get front FEAD accessories and mandels for it that way. Mine was a BBM Bolt pattern and I wound up making almost everything for my Fead on the front of my HEMI.

ATI had dampers that clear the Indy cover, they show one in their catalog specifically for that application. 917127E on their website. https://www.atiracing.com/products/dampers/charts/damchrysler.htm
The Chevy pattern dampers will also clear a belt drive. Sometimes the Chevy pattern ones come with driver side numbers so when you order you want to make sure you get passenger side numbers.
