i have an aluminum drum, so im changinf fluid frequantly.. will a reuseable brass filter be ok or is a paper filter better? i know the aluminum is micro- fine .. also is there an in line filter that can be used ?

the instructions that came with my billet steel drum included ali drum instructions too. TCS advise you to use the dacron filter since it is a finer screening material.

I use the paper-fiber filters from Mopar, Fram are the same looking.

Say NO to the brass ... it will let-in tooo much of the fine alum material. Any "paper" material is better.

Another Q to ask here ...what type of band are you using with this drum ?
